New TLDs and Possible Cyer Security Problem

The ICANN or Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers have recently approved the use of many other TLDs or top level domains aside from the familiar .com, .net and .org domain names. Any combination of letters and symbols can now be used as domain address suffix. ~~

The register sees this move as a potential threat to cyber security. They say that a problem might arise as a result of the confusion between the external domain addresses used online and those addresses used internally by companies and corporations.
